Basic Statistics Using SAS/INSIGHT® Software

Duration: 2.0 days CEUs: 1.2

AUDIENCE
This course covers all aspects of SAS/INSIGHT®Software, a selfcontained package, that allows for data analysis, sophisticated graphing in two or more dimensions and intense statistical reporting. It is completely menu-driven. Students will learn to take data, manipulate it in a graphical environment to understand relationships in the data and be able to identify items such as outliers quickly. The course workshops will give students an opportunity to learn how to organize, describe, analyze and interpret data.

BENEFITS
Attendees will learn to:
• Access all forms of data
• Create interactive, graphical analysis
• Filter, sort and transform data
• Calculate new variables and transform existing ones
• Create one and two way analysis
• Create various linear regression models
• Perform Fit tests

PREREQUISITES
Some previous knowledge of SAS Software in an interactive environment, along with a basic knowledge of statistics such as hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, p-values, t-tests and regression analysis.
