Client Server Processing Using SAS/CONNECT®, SAS/SHARE® and SAS/ACCESS® Software

AUDIENCE
This course is for SAS System users who need to access and process remote data.

BENEFITS
This course is designed to teach users how to connect to multiple platforms supporting SAS, move data between them and process data on the most appropriate system. Concurrent use of data and access to data not stored in SAS is discussed.

Students will learn to:
• Set up a remote connection
• Process data on the most appropriate operating system
• Remotely submit programs
• Get local access to remote SAS and DBMS data

PREREQUISITES
Programming I: SAS Essentials course, basic knowledge of your operating system environments and ability to:

• Run SAS programs
• Use the Display Manager interface
• Perform simple data manipulation
• Understand the basic commands available on your operating systems
