Executive Information Systems
and Multi Dimensional Database Basics with SAS/EIS® and SAS/MDDB® Server Software
Duration: 2.0 days CEUs: 1.2
AUDIENCE
This course demonstrates how to use SAS/EIS® and SAS/MDDB® Server
oftware for Rapid Application Development. We will teach how to
use pre-built objects in SAS/EIS®Software that are designed
for multi-dimensional reporting on data, drill down from general to detailed categories, traffic lighting, and critical
success factors. Students will learn how objects in EIS will allow a
graph and a table to appear on the same report and how the graph(s) and table(s) automatically update as the data changes.
BENEFITS
Students will be able to:
•
Set up multi dimensional databases
•
Define Metadata
•
Create multi dimensional reports and graphs
•
Create an application catalog
•
Set up an application in a production environment
