Company Background

This nonprofit institution helps improve policy and decision making, in both the private and public sector, by conducting extensive research and analysis. It is primarily a research and development organization that conducts government research and analysis using SAS and statistics. It does this by analyzing developments and trends in national defense, education and training, health care, criminal and civil justice, labor and population, science and technology, community development, international relations and regional studies. One of the Organization's principles stated in its mission statement is to “meet the highest technical standards by employing advanced empirical methods” in its research and analysis methodologies.

Training Project

Objectives

This Organization employs research and statistical programmers, all of whom work on federally funded projects on billable time. It is critical that their time away from work is minimal. In this environment, they needed to learn the latest in SAS technology in a very short amount of time.

Resolutions

Destiny was able to build customized courses from very specific course modules to create condensed training classes. This enabled their programmers to acquire knowledge on the latest SAS application enhancements in a fraction of the normal training time. Destiny taught these courses at all Organization's locations across the country.

Benefits

The training provided included teaching programmers how to set up dynamic web sites using SAS software. With this training they have been able to build several web sites using SAS/Internet software. They use this knowledge to help generate additional revenue for the Organization
