Agency Background
This Department supports the entire State's training needs. Their goal is to provide “excellent low cost IT training in mainframe, networks, data-communication, web development, PC applications and other high end technical and related topics”. The Organization has offered exceptional, technical training related to Information Systems, data processing and telecommunications to the state, federal and local government agencies for many years. This Agency has very specialized training needs because it supports every state department in every county.
Training Project
Objectives
Our client needed very customized training to meet their departmental needs. The problem they were encountering was that the SAS training classes that vendors were offering were too generic. Vendors were too inflexible and non-attentive to their needs. Generic classes were not appropriate to meet the needs of the state department staff.
Resolutions
Destiny Corporation offered to customize training classes based on the Institution's needs. “We were open to tailoring the classes to best suit their work requirements. We gained insight into their needs and established a relationship to review and modify class content on an ongoing basis. We worked very closely with them to design a mix of SAS software training classes held on an annual basis for state employees and other public sector employees. We found that their needs change frequently, so we respond to them by modifying the content of classes and adding classes as required. All these efforts have increased enrollment in their classes".
