Our client, a nonprofit organization, plays an important role in ensuring that telephone service remains available and affordable in all parts of the country. It also administers a number of significant federal and state programs that help keep the United States telecommunications system the most widely used in the world.

Training Project

Objectives

In 1992 our client was replacing IBM software, which was used to do all reporting and analysis, with SAS Software. Employees from multiple regional offices needed to learn to use the newly implemented relational database technology. They needed very customized training for their employees.

Resolutions

Destiny Corporation was the only vendor that could offer customized training and make a training commitment for a period of 2 years. Destiny Corporation trained approximately 300 programmers and analysts in order to effectively write SAS programs for daily, ad hoc reports. Destiny personnel successfully designed a comprehensive program of customized SAS end-user training classes and course material. The same set of instructors was dedicated to provide their training for the entire duration of the project.
