This large telecommunications firm brings the freedom of mobility to consumers, businesses, and government users with a comprehensive range of wireless and wireline communications services.
In an effort to manage their call pricing, this telco firm wanted to apply activity-based algorithms to its company network data. The information captured would enable them to budget and strategically plan for growth in new territories.
A well-known software vendor was hired to build their system. Six months later, the organization was presented with 300 unusable and worthless programs. Destiny Corporation was called in to remediate.
We analyzed the programs and were able to quickly pinpoint a faulty methodology and configuration in the original plan. After consulting with company management to ascertain their requirements and objectives, a new system was carefully mapped out and designed. Within three weeks, we built an application from the ground up with a business-rules based interface that even non-technical users could easily maintain. Batch processes can analyze network traffic, match routes, and expand and contract analysis as the data changes. A dozen routines were placed into production that are scheduled and require no human intervention.
The company can now analyze their call routing and put measures in place to reduce carrying costs, saving their shareholders millions of dollars each year. These jobs have been processing continuously since 2003.
Leading the telecommunications and media space, this firm’s portfolio of operations includes a full suite of advanced digital television, voice and high-speed Internet services and valuable local media and programming properties.
This organization captures their subscribers’ set top box information. They also offer advertising through another division. They wanted the ability to use the tune in data and demographics of their subscribers to offer them targeted, addressable advertising. However, designing an environment that could track this process for multiple advertisers, maintain subscriber anonymity while showing a lift in return on promotional investment presented a challenge.
Destiny Corporation was hired to build a process that would allow tune in and demographic data to be combined, anonymized, and targeted for each campaign. After conferring with upper management to ensure we had a thorough understanding of their environment and objectives, we designed and built a process based on their criterion. Per their request, we continued to provide addressable advertising campaign support for another four years.
This arrangement afforded the company a one-stop production shop. They merely sold advertising to their clients while we managed the internal production processes, coordinated with both the external database marketing vendors and the set top box delivery vendors.
This large telecommunications company provides wireless voice, messaging, and data services to over 293 million customers across the country.
The firm’s marketing department envisioned tremendous growth for this organization. They proposed the implementation of a marketing automation and optimization system that would support customer acquisition and reduced churn.
Destiny Corporation worked closely with the client to gain a better understanding of both their current and future objectives. We designed several ETL processes that read Teradata client and transaction data. Next, a marketing automation and optimization solution was implemented. This allowed marketing to create customized campaigns that would support their acquisition and churn reduction initiatives.
The company can now design and execute their own customized campaigns based on their requirements.
